The Fellowship Cotillion has been a much anticipated event and rite of passage for middle schoolers at Fellowship for quite some time. Our program has been tailored to honor traditional Etiquette and social dance. In addition, Fellowship Cotillion hones in on the importance of Godly confidence and leadership skills while addressing social interactions (online and offline) that teens find themselves in today. Our program includes several practical practice sessions as well including job interview skills, first impression activities, tying ties/bow ties and attaching boutonnières in preparation for high school events.

In addition, the Fellowship Cotillion experience is FUN! Our final session includes a parent & child formal dance. The Cotillion students have the opportunity to showcase their acquired dance skills with their parent attending. The formal dance is followed by a fun “students only” dance party with a DJ and Photo Booth. There is a special VIP area for 8th Graders. The parents attending the final Cotillion session have the option to attend a parenting class that touches on specific issues teens are facing in today’s world.  Last year, this parent session was taught by Author Barrett Johnson. 

In conclusion, Fellowship Cotillion is based on a comprehensive, three year format beginning in 6th grade, whereby each year builds on the previous one. The curriculum is designed in such a way that each participant will be refreshed on basic skills and then taught advanced skills tailored to their specific grade level. Effective Nov 1st, the pricing rate will increase to $300. Our Fellowship Cotillion Committee has worked diligently to keep the Cotillion 2025 pricing the same as the prior year.
